Metal music and other noises, are they harmful for baby?
Post Body

So we live with roommates and when we all get together to eat and hang in the kitchen (usually on the weekend), we put the baby in the swing and then cook and hang out and eat.

But my roommates and husband like metal music so they play this kind of music relatively loud (not loud for an adult but it might be loud for a baby) and they’re also loud when talking and laughing. I get very upset and usually eat quickly so I can take my baby with me to the room and get her some peace. She doesn’t seem to be bothered by noise, on the contrary, she’s starting to hate silence :(

I’m also having issues with husband because he thinks it’s not too early to start showing our daughter how to listen to rock music, he also plays it in the car when we go somewhere. I like this kind of music but I don’t think is the best for my baby right now, my intuition tells me it stresses her out, but husband says I exaggerate. Am I? Am I exaggerating? I mean, it’s not happening constantly or everyday and that’s his argument which might be valid. What do y’all think?
