Baby Breathing Issue

Post Body

Our 1 week old baby has issues with rapid breathing (video in comments). He grunts/snorts occasionally but everything else is normal. He feeds/poops normally. He just looks like he is struggling. Just concerned parents here. Let me know if anyone else has encountered this.

Comments

Thanks everyone for your comments. He is at a children's hospital. He passed: Xray ENT put a camera down his nose and airway was clear Echo and EKG are good for heart Speech specialist said no issues with feeding Now we are working with pulmonolgist to do sleep study and possible CAT scan of his lungs

Issue is that he is still labored breathing and his oxygen levels occasionally drop to 80's

We did and they said it's normal because it wasn't sustained rapid breathing and his oxygen levels were fine.

Ran a bunch of tests and everything came back normal but just told us to keep an eye on it

Yes and doctor thinks it's normal. We worry cause it just looks so labored.
