I'm so excited for this subreddit! I wanted to introduce myself to all of you!

I am purpleandglitter and as you may have guessed, I love all things purple and all things glitter. (Especially the purple).

Before joining the multiple make up subreddits my makeup routine consisted of one color shadow across my whole eye, some eyeliner (if I could remember it) and a little mascara. Since joining some of the other MUA subs I've learned a lot. Since getting more into makeup I'm having a lot of fun learning different techniques and I find myself gaining confidence in my every day look.

I'm slowly getting into wearing something other than chapstick on my lips. (Ahh, the give me more lip set from Sephora sounds like a dream). I'm getting married in March (on Pi Day!) so right now a lot of life is dedicated to the wedding. My favorite makeup looks are every day looks, the ones that enhance what you have. I have no idea how to do a smokey eye (I look like I got punched in the face), how to blend multiple colors that aren't already similar (they all get... muddy) and I don't understand how to curl my eyelashes.

Now that you know about me, can't wait to learn about you guys! For now, I'm off to eat some cookies! And I want to say thanks to /u/littlebluebirds for starting this subreddit!
