Building a Palemaster for Shadows / Hordes

I have this urge to replay the original campaigns. Right now I am doing a Fighter / Bard 1 / RDD for the Wailing Death in preparation for /u/lukescull upcoming unofficial sequel series, but I also wanna replay Shadows and Hordes with a character since I havent touched this since the game released.
I have never done a Pale Master and I wanna do that, so I am debating HOW to do it. I was thinking maybe 10 bard / 30 Palemaster but I am unsure.
Anyone got ideas for that?
