Wanting to try a specific kind of Persistant World (see post for details)

Post Body

So I am wanting to try a Persistant World, but I have some particular wants and needs based on how I prefer to play online MMO type games.

First, while I am fine RPing, I dont want it to be the sole focus or even the main requirement. This is partially do to my getting distracted, or getting yanked away to handle things, or just zoning out (ADHD, its a whole thing). Its not fair to other RPers if I suddenly have to run to take care of something either, and that happens often with me.

Second, I want to be able to advance solo, and have activities and quests that I can do without a DM being present.

Those are really the big ones. I am open on setting, mechanics, etc. Right now I am planning to try Arelith, but I am worried about the RP stuff since, again, sometimes I gotta run off for indeterminate amounts of time, and I would hate to do that to someone.
