list of my ngu experiences (wrote out of boredom):

–I get upset watching media depecting tweens because it reminds me that i'll never be that way again

–I haaateee birthdays. I don't think there is a single birthday where I haven't cried since I turned 13.

–Accidentally still saying twelve when people ask how old I am

–Genuinely wanting to hurt people who think this is some weird fetish

–Not being able to relate to age regressors

–Digging for a real name for this disorder just to be met with very little research

–Being 🌈chronically jealous🌈

–Randomly realizing i'm going into college and not seventh grade

–Freaking the hell out when I check up on my middle school friends just to see they have beards or are entirely different people now

–Despising "moving on"

–Skipping braces appointments so they get taken off later (I know i've gotta stop doing this)

-Feeling actual shock when I look in the mirror and see an adult

–Reading puberty books like it's a new concept (I feel like im perpetually going through it)

–Realize everyone else in your life is excited to be an adult, and cry for a while

–Parents & friends being concerned over your lack of interest in anything adult

–Rolling your eyes reading about holier-than-thou drug, cursing, etc abstinent NGUs
