Anyone quit drinking/drugs after getting diagnosed?
Post Body

I just got diagnosed as AuADHD, along with a diagnosis of Pervasive Depressive Disorder. I've had a habit of smoking too much weed and occasionally binge-drinking for a few years now, which is part of why I was motivated to get tested for autism and ADHD. And now that I'm diagnosed...kind of feels like maybe drugs and alcohol are probably bad for me. Like, if I stop I'm going to be miserable for a while. But AuADHD and PDD seems like a bad combo for recreational drugs and drinking, and it may be why I overindulge in the first place.

What about you all? Have you quit? Has it made your lives better?
