A bit of a backstory, my brother is neurodivergent, learning, disabled and diagnosed low IQ.

He’s now 21 years old, he has a part time job and even has his drivers license

How do people like him meet others to build friendships and relationships locally?

He has no problem with talking to people online. But I worry he cannot differentiate bad actors from genuine people, as he’s been scammed multiple times. My mother is heavily concerned about this.

Since he likes being online so much, we’ve tried to convince him to make an account on an online dating up for neurodivergent people called ‘Hiki’ and he all but refuses to try it because in his own words “ I don’t trust it”, but he has no problem with talking to total strangers on TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.

What should we do? What resources are out there for people like him?
