Wordpress blog, most recent update, hosted on Dreamhost. FTP access enabled.
The HTML remained seemingly untouched but all the JS was broken and every image had the same src URL as normal, but all the images are showing up as porn. My first thought was a DNS hijack or something, but the DNS servers are all correct in my Dreamhost cPanel. I re-uploaded all the site files and it solved the problem.
Where else should I be looking to prevent this from happening again? I know a good deal about front-end development but next to nothing about server management.
Edit: Thanks for all the replies. Sounds like it may have been FTP sniffing.
