My dad lives alone. He's 82, and fairly infirm. You can judge, you can condemn, but circumstances are that he lives alone, has no consistent help, and loves - loves - watching TV.

My dad is pretty infirm. He can't make decisions. But he loves watching TV. The problem here is, he knows how to change channels. He can turn on the TV, and watch what is on, or change the channel. The big problem is, since mom died, he watches pretty much this one show, which is a pretty awful and depressing show (you must know: the letters "SVU" are relevant.).

Thing is, I think it depresses him. I would LOVE for him to have the option to simply flick on Netflix, and have it show many of the serials that Netflix has as an option, without having to navigate it. He can't navigate it. To do so on his current set-up, he has to change devices on one remote, then use another remove to select the Netflix, then he has to navigate and select a show that he wants to watch, then select an episode.

He can't do that.

I would really like it for him to be able to, in this easiest way possible, simply select "Netflix" on his remote, and up comes the next queued show, already playing. And, the queue keeps working through, keeping on playing shows, until it is exhausted.

What is the easiest way to do that?

Price is no object.
