John posted this link on Instagram https://instagram.com/p/BZjUUVAgpwd/ which included a phone number. After calling quite a few times and getting first a voicemail message, then a full mailbox message, I got John himself! He thanked me for following him on Instagram and said he was trying to sell "Turtles All the Way Down" over the phone one copy at a time. I've already preordered and got tickets to his show on October 10th in NYC, so I've got more copies than I know what to do with, so we talked about the Mountain Goats for a minute before he hung up. Genuinely amazing! DFTBA!
