Vote for /r/neology's Best of 2013 Awards
Post Body

2013 ended some months ago, but that's no reason not to award its best posts some recognition. Prepare to determine...

/r/neology's Best of 2013 Awards

The previous iteration of these awards failed to garner much interest, so we'll try a couple of things differently this time. In particular, this time around, you aren't restricted to a single category like Neologism of the Year. Rather, you can vote for any category you like—if it doesn't exist, create it! Here are the rules:

RULES

Eligible nominees

  • Any post made to /r/neology in 2013 and last edited in 2013
  • You may nominate your own post.

Nominations

  • To nominate a post for an award, make a top-level post in this thread including, at a minimum:
    1. The category for which you are nominating the post, e.g. Best Neologism, Best Concept Needing a Word, Best Supporting Reasoning, etc.
      • You can use a preexisting category or create your own.
    2. A link to the post that you are nominating for this category.

Votes

  • You may vote for as many or as few nominations as you wish, in either direction.
  • In particular, you can downvote a nomination if you don't think its category should exist at all.
    • Alternatively, you can make a separate top-level post to argue that a category should not be awarded.

Winners and Prizes

  • The winners shall be the leaders in each category at the time that voting in this thread is automatically locked (viz., 6 months from now).
  • As usual, the winners in each category shall be awarded with titular flair and a mention in the official Best of 2013 forum.
  • At the moderators' discretion, leaders of each category may be awarded provisional flair before the voting officially concludes. ___

That's all, folks. Have at it!
