I live in a building w/ 6 apartments, and I’m on the ground floor. Each floor has 2 apartments, one on either side of the building. Now the family across from me is 2 parents and 2 kids. Firstly, the dog, they encourage her to bark at strangers and she’s a chihuahua mix, so think a shrill bark every time there’s a noise in the hallway. They also don’t take her on walks, just in the small backyard, and every other time she escapes into the hall, she pees in the vestibule near the front door. I had to complain to landlord for them to finally start cleaning it up when she has an accident, otherwise they would just let the pee evaporate in the hall. Now I understand kids are loud but it doesn’t help when the mother is also a screamer. I really do believe the kids pick up on mom being loud, so they think it’s good and normal. I feel bad complaining sometimes but on the other hand, they’re just completely oblivious to their neighbors. Don’t get me started when they would wake me up from being loud in the hall at 6 and 4 am. Just praying they move out so I don’t have to
