Employer is shutting down my retail location. I work for an Asurion certified repair center. I’m a technician and do home visit repairs twice a week. Without the retail location I won’t be able to pay my bills. They want me to transition to full time Asurion repairs but the owner isn’t being all that clear about how my work schedule and things will be.
I am currently making $11/hr and honestly without the store, I’d have 23 hours a week maximum if I am lucky.
The issue for me is I want to remain in the telecommunications/sales or repair industry, which is the bulk of my resume. I don’t have my own car at the moment.
Is there anything in Montana that anybody would know that could be WFH? I’m so lost and I’ll be homeless if I can’t find a better job.
My current job isn’t likely to give a pay raise or help adjust my hours.
