What country holds the best ratio for "Wages : Cost of Living : Taxes"
Post Body

Hi everyone!

So me and my partner are getting ready to finally settle in and either begin renting or posibly look at purchasing a house. I need some SERIOUS ADVICE, In regards to where is the best place to live.

Im basically after the pipe dream. Living in a comfy/cosy/modern looking house but not willing to grind my entire life away or 66% of my weekly salary to doing so either.

We currently live in australia and by god there is no chance any of our generation is able to afford a house for it currently is without sacrificing there paycheck towards it.

Not to mention the taxes are high, our government are running around in circles and the COST of living is through the roof. Don't get me wrong, Sydney is a lovely place. Just not reasonably affordable.

I'v been looking at America, Canada, Europe but im inexperienced. Some advice would be great.

Thanks all!
