Asmr and hanging at friends doesn't work (headphones in couch)

Post Body

Staying at a buddies place across the state and I can't sleep without asmr. Woke up today after only 4 hours of sleep and noticed my earbud was out of my ear. I looked for about 5 minutes to discover I couldn't find it but determined it is still paired. I was able to lift the couch and give it a bit of a shake which helped me determine where the thing was exactly because the music only got me so far. I am now in a position where I can no longer move forward. Shaking is too inconsistent and I am a larger, getting close to older, guy (30 ish).

So the problem is that I can't shake with enough force to make the earbud go where I need past obstacles such as wooden framing. I can't reach in too deep because of the frame. I don't have access to tongs or another grabber. I can't cut the bottom open to retrieve it. I don't have a magnet on a stick or string.

These headphones are incredibly important to me though, I lost my job a while back and can't afford to replace them even with garbage earbuds. Due to my family situation I had reason to borrow money to make this trip... getting earbuds on top of that would be met with less than enthusiasm.

At this point I am kind of desperate for any good ideas that yall might have. I don't have time to think this through as much as I'd like because the earbud has been playing asmr for at minimum 3.5 hours and then loud music for at least 15 minutes. I need to.be able to blast music again in order to Rey to pinpoint where it is exactly for when one of you has a great idea for me.
