My gaming group is looking to get into Necromunda and while everyone is picking their gang my interest is leaning towards creating my own custom gang/faction (after seeing someone do an amazing Sump Diver force). So I've been doing some lore diving into Necromunda and have a few ideas but I'm curious as to what others have done for their own custom gangs?

My ideas are 1. Grot gangers/Underorks (I'm thinking holdovers from previous Ork raids, maybe using Krule Boyz to represent Orks that have developed in the isolation of Necromunda rising giant spiders etc) 2. Admech Tech Scavengers (mercenary/pirate/scavanger tech priests looking for archaeotech hidden in Necromunda hives) 3. Inquisitorial Purgation Team (Special forces esque team sent in to clean up various issues of interest to the Inquisition or cover up Inquisitorial projects gone wrong) 4. Hive Mortis Plague gang (remnants of the plague that hit Hive Mortis, debating between making them nurglish or inspired by the psychic vampire character) 5. Teknights (gangers who found an archaic form of power armor similar to the pre-imperial Caliban, would probably use Stormcast as the base) 6. Cannibals/Headhunters (times are hard in the hives but there is plenty to be had if you know how to hunt) 7. Penal Gangers (inspired by GTFO, could be the Lord's are sending disposable inmates on suicide missions) 8. The Unrisen (failed Astartes aspirants for the Imperial Fists, they still serve the chapter by going into the hives and challenging the gangers to source recruits)

Personally I'm leaning towards the Tech Hunters, Purgation Team or the Cannibals

CLARIFICATION: If you've actually read the post above you'll see that at no point have I stated I plan on making custom rules for these gangs and any other conclusion is just the assumption of the reader
