Hello everyone. Just as a quick background I've been in Warhammer for 15 year's so I'm fairly familiar (relatively) with how things work overall.

Now, I would like to get into Necromunda. I've kept a distant eye on this so there's something I'm unsure about. I know Ash Wastes is the latest "starting box" for the game. However I am getting more attracted by the hove war starting box.

After a quick search on the internet I couldn't get which versions of the rules is the latest one (v3 ?). My question is the following: are the rules for play up to date in the hive war box ? I'm talking specifically about the rules to play the game itself. I am aware since then factions books have been released but this is gonna be for another time. Just would like to know if I can properly get started with the box mentioned above.
