Now, just looking at these teams, I can honestly say it's largely correct, the vast majority of players I don't have a problem with them being where they are, but Donovan Mitchell I feel is a major snub. Averaging 26-4-5 a game for the number 1 team in the league record wise should be practically a guarantee to make one of the teams. I would personally replace him with Bradley Beal who yes, averaged 31 PPG but didn't contribute as much to winning basketball as Mitchell.
I also have an issue with LeBron James being selected and James Harden being left off, although the issue has less to do with how they performed throughout the year and more due to the inconsistency of the voters in regards to how they factor in the amount of games played. LeBron James only played 45 out of 72 games this season while Harden played in 44 games, and I feel that Harden had a just as impressive season as LeBron, averaging 25-8-11 a game on the year, but despite that, LeBron makes the All NBA 2nd team and Harden gets left off entirely. Honestly Harden (and Mitchell too) may have just been victim to the guard position being as deep as it is in today's league but those are just my personal opinions.
What do you all think about the teams? What do you think the voters got right/wrong when making their selections?
