Golden State currently sits as the 11 seed and don't look like a title contender or even one piece away from title contention.
Their best player is a PG they drafted who is universally loved by the fan base.
The are at a cross roads where trying to win now will mean making trades that will likely put then in a very poor spot 4 years from now and likely won't get them another title. However, doing a full rebuild seems like a sports heresy.
I know it seems ridiculous to say their best bet is to trade away all aging assets and start a rebuild, but is that the most popular path among fans?
If you trade Wiggins, Paul, Klay, and Green away surely you could get a few picks and young players back and you're probably not in a much worse spot than you are today (I imagine the regression with Paul and Green is going to be somewhat significant next year).
