What tells you immediately that someone doesn't know what they're talking about?
Post Body

For instance, whenever someone tells me that the NBA has "too many superteams," I know right away that they get all their info from the internet and/or they haven't watched the NBA since 2018.

I also had a person yesterday tell me straight up that basketball requires the least amount of athleticism of all the major sports and that it's the easiest for the average person to be good at because "you can just run to the corner and shoot." No consideration of getting open, someone defending you, cardio endurance, etc. They also believed that Steph Curry's "not a great athlete, just a great shooter," and that anyone in the NFL could succeed in the NBA quicker than anyone in the NBA could succeed in the NFL. Just ridiculous takes left and right.

What do you say? How do you know right away that someone doesn't know what they're talking about when it comes to discussing basketball?
