He joined the Lakers in 2012. Here's how his tenure went:
12/13 -- 8th seed / Lost in WCQF vs. OKC
13/14 -- 4th seed / Lost in WCQF vs. POR
14/15 -- 2nd seed / Lost in WCF vs. GSW (so far there has been an improvement in seeding and playoff success yearly)
- Harden becomes MVP runner-up and gets voted by the players as MVP
15/16 -- 8th seed / Lost in WCQF vs. GSW
- McHale is fired early on, roster is very inconsistent all year long, guys going into training camp out of shape, played 73-9 Warriors first round
16/17 -- 3rd seed / Lost in WCSF vs. SAS
- Harden is runner-up in MVP voting again, has his infamous performance vs. the Spurs in G6
17/18 -- 1st seed / Lost in WCF vs. GSW
- Harden becomes MVP, Houston is a force. Lost in 7 to the KD-Warriors in which they could have won had CP3 not gotten hurt
18/19 -- 4th seed / Lost in Lost in WCSF vs. GSW
- CP3 gets hurt early on and the Rockets are reeling. Harden carries them to the 4th seed while averaging 36 PPG. Runner-up in MVP once again to Giannis. Lost to Warriors with no KD final 2 games
19/20 -- 4th seed / Lost in WCSF vs. LAL
Although he was never able to capture a title, he came damn close. His teams were the only ones that were bold and tough enough to challenge the Warriors, as they were definitely their toughest test during the KD years. He regularly had them as a high seed, played MVP-caliber basketball, and had them in contention for many years.
I give it a B
Honestly? Dude deserves an A
He'd have a ring or two if it wasn't for KD Warriors. Still carried them in spite of all the issues they had.
