The last NBA championship dynasty was the 2015-Present Golden State Warriors.
Prior to 2015 there’s been multiple dynasties: Heat, Lakers, Spurs, Bulls, Rockets, Pistons, Celtics, etc.
What constitutes a real sports dynasty is multiple championship (2 or more) in a 5-10 year time period. The ingredients are multiple all-stars, multiple reliable role players, a prestigious coaching staff, playoff experience, team culture and last but not least, health.
There’s a current dynasty being built in Milwaukee. Their organization checks all the boxes and are currently defending title with realistic goals of repeating.
But quiet as kept; the next dynasty is being built right before our eyes…
The 2022 NBA all-star game will be hosted in Cleveland, Ohio - the home of the 2015 NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers.
Ironically the next NBA dynasty after this current Bucks run could be the Cleveland Cavaliers.
They’re currently checking all the boxes except health and playoff experience. Cavs could easily check both of these boxes by 2023.
The LeBron James days were great while they lasted, but only one ring came from those great years by the King.
Good draft picks and playoff tested role players are holding the Cavs in excellent playoff position for 2022.
Milwaukee was beat by the Cavaliers last night in a regular season matchup. If you look closer at their roster; Cavs are built to be the rival of the 2X MVP and champion Bucks.

Could you even imagine though? Lol
A Kings Dynasty would burn Sacramento to the ground after every chip and I’m here for it! 😂
