Deandre played 71% of the total game minutes yet defended 27% of the Warriors total shots 1-1 which is insane.
Warriors shooting stats when guarded 1-1 by Ayton last night:
Curry 1-9, 1 TO, blocked once
Wiggins 0-4, 1 TO, blocked once
Green 1-3, 1 TO
Looney 0-2
Porter Jr. 1-2
Poole 1-2
Bjelica 0-1, 1 TO

Mikal Bridges deserves tons of credit for helping to shut down Curry and others while making it hard for people he guarded to get their shots off where/when they wanted.
That said, Ayton's defensive efforts seem to flying under the radar.
Warriors tried attacking Ayton with switches which other than a few plays, didn't seem to meaningfully pay off. When he's fully engaged (which isn't always), he's a defensive game changer for the Suns.
