If Nate McMillan was the coach for Atlanta from Day 1, would Atlanta's run be as shocking as it is right now?
Post Body
I feel like when we look at the Hawks we see a team making an improbable run as a 5th seed. However, when Nate took over as coach, they finished the year with one of the best records in the NBA. Obviously, there are a lot of X factors to this, but looking at the win percentage is interesting. Since the coaching change, the Hawks had a win percentage of 68.4%. To put this in perspective, the Sixers, with the number one seed, was 68.1% and were the number 1 seed.
Edited an error with the Hawks seeding.
