Last nights Mavs game had an inexplicable call in which a goaltending call was reviewed and overturned, but Collins was awarded a goal for the outback afterward. The explanation was that it wasn’t a goaltending call (it was), but an inadvertent whistle. This, of course, still makes no sense because an inadvertent whistle stops play and results in a jump ball. This was with roughly 10 left in a two point game that resulted in the Mavs down by four instead of down by two with a jump ball.
Combined with a number of other significant mid calls, including final plays of games or even reviewed plays, I feel like officiating is particularly rough this year. This leads me to ask the following:
What is the worst call against your team this season? Gifs or videos appreciated. Extra points for ones that determined games.
