Are People More Shook by Kawhi's Behavior Because we Never Really had an Insight to his Personality?
Post Body

I've defended Kawhi since he didn't return after those 9 games he played, dude had every reason to not play again

but the recent report of him being hidden, is just a step too far

It got me thinking, are we only shocked because he is a Spurs superstar who has a brash personality while he showcases zero of it? I don't think it's just his uncle that is making him this way, I think he's been like this.

I've said it before on other sites, but I think that the way the media acts like Kawhi was a product of Pop and not his own ethic likely got to him. We know that what people say in the media get to athletes, gets them rattled. Maybe this kickstarted Kawhi's diva behavior, along with other factors such as the fact he was offered the same money on his shoe deal as Ben Simmons despite being a top 3 NBA player last time we saw him healthy.

I'm still not upset at the dude, at this point it's just hilarious to me. Players being divas doesn't bother me, because I get it, this saga has just been wild.
