DeMarcus Cousins has a reputation for being a "locker room cancer" which doesn't really make sense when you hear former teammates talk about loving him and playing with him. It seems that he is typically an agitated dude while losing though, like most athletes tend to be. Especially when playing for one of the worst Franchises of the last 10 years. When the team he's on is winning, he seems to be a nice presence.
While with Jimmy Butler, it seems that winning or losing, he's going to the media or leaking out stuff that shows he is not happy. It happened multiple times with the Bulls, and now is surfacing with the Wolves.
This doesn't surprise me, mainly because Jimmy appears to be a very intense individual when it comes to basketball and expects the exact same of his teammates. Which can alienate your teammates or endure you to em depending. In his case, like many others, it has harmed the team as a whole.
I like Jimmy, but it does seem like his reputation should be closer to what DeMarcus' is currently.
