Since drafting Jerry West in 1960(57 seasons ago), there has been at least one Laker player in all but 5 All-Star games.
Post Body

Jerry West: (1961-1974)

Gail Goodrich(1969, 1972-1975)

KAJ(1976-1977, 1979-1989 for the Lakers)

No Laker player for 1978.

Magic Johnson(1980, 1982-1992)

No Laker player for 1993 or 1994.

Cedric Ceballos(1995)

No Laker for 1996.

Shaq(1997-1998, 2000-2004 for the Lakers)

Kobe(1996-2016)

No Laker for 2017.

So the longest the Laker's have gone since 1960 without an All-Star has been two years.

I figured I'd start with 1960 as that was when they moved the LA, but if you want to be depressed you'd find that the Lakers had a person in the All-Star game from its inception in 1951 until 1977.
