LeBron James was one of the best spot up shooters in the league last year
Post Body

So 177 players in the NBA attempted at least 150 catch and shoot 3s last season, and here are the top 3 percentages:

  1. Norman Powell - 49.6%, 260 attempts

  2. Luke Kennard - 48.7%, 189 attempts

  3. LeBron James - 47.3%, 184 attempts

So yeah, more further evidence to show just how much his game has changed obviously over the last 10-15 years, but even over the last 5 ish years or so too, since now he plays more off ball and is actually a legitimate threat as a spot up shooter. He attempts more catch and shoot shots now than ever before, and even though he still gets weird criticism for not being able to play in a system, he seems to be developing a skillset for exactly that to help him last.
