[META] After you hosted a game thread, how do you get all of the orangereds to go away?

I had the game thread for game 4 of bulls/nets, and there were like thousands of comments, and it constantly is showing i have new messages, which are just replies to that game thread. I've been going through them 25 at a time to mark them read, but that's taking forever. Is there a faster way to clear that out?
