Today is the 25th anniversary of elimimated NBA players going to Cancun

For those who don't know, the Cancun thing started on May 24, 1998 in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals between the Lakers and Jazz. On the verge of elimination, in the Lakers' pregame rallying cry, Nick Van Exel went,
“One, two, three … Cancun!”
