Would a public database of ref stats be something you guys would like to see?
Much damn respect to Fred VanVleet and his comments about Ben Taylor and the officiating becoming worse and worse. The issue isn't that they are making bad calls, that's always been an issue. The main problem is that the refs ego has gone up incredibly. No humility no accountability.
Is there a system the fans can demand, like a refs stats page. How many missed calls, wrong calls, challenged calls that won or lost, how many techs each have given out.
If anyone is interested in this, I will create a site to track statistics of the refs. I can pull some of this information from NBA.com and the Last 2 minute report, but at this point I think the refs are controlling the game too much.
As fans, if certain refs keep making mistakes and ruining the team why cant we publicaly demand the NBA to do something about this?
If anyone wants to partner and help give me a shout.
