I am a true Basketball lover. The NBA does a great job in promoting the sport and as of recent we have seen a positive change in the way the game is played. The increase of player PPG, overall points scored and Triple doubles has improved the sport for viewers phenomenally. With the growth of numbers and triple doubles what the NBA has done is create a ālocal heroā for every team. Even Kyle Kuzmas triple double yesterday got me excited and Iām not even a Washington wizards supporter. Which has brought me to my point today. I believe that it is only fair that won jump balls should classify as a rebound for the winnings team jumper. For instance, youāll have a SF vs a C and it would really benefit the SF to try his or her best to win that jump ball. Weāve seen a lot of players who shy away from jumping during these situations because of the fear of injury but on a realistic statistic this hasnāt happened in NBA recorded history. This would create extra stats, increasing the excitement and actually making the jump balls more entertaining than what they currently are.
