Post Body

I got PCS orders to a new command, and went to break my lease using the SCRA. I made sure I followed the guidelines and went to my apartment office to give the 30 day notice. At first the apartment manager agreed but suddenly later that day a leasing agent called and said they would not honor the military clause to break a lease due to a minimum mileage requirement in the lease. Yes I'm virginia state law and SCRA there is no mileage requirement at all. Even a civilian attorney was confused by that. I plan to go to legal to get assistance. What else should I do?
