So as you can tell by the title I’m trying to transfer to the CG from the navy but honestly I have a lot of questions that no one seems to know the answers to. Bless his heart but my NC1 isn’t the best with this type of thing.

I’m a Master at arms in the navy and the CG does have a rating equivalent but that’s not what I’m trying to do. Looking at OS in the CG

First question: is there anyone in this group who has done navy to coast guard before? How was the process if you got accepted. How did you route all the paper work?

Second question: how long did it take the navy to allow you to work with the CG to get medical qualified?

Third question: Did you have to get any waivers? How was that process? I might need one for a condition that I got diagnosed with in February.
