I resigned without any offer in hand

Post Body

Hello, I am 22(M) graduated not to long ago from a tier 2 college in Navi Mumbai, in the stream of Mechanical engineering...I got placed in a startup which was okayish in start.

I joined as jr Design engineer and the probation pay was 15k a month (but after 6 months i got the promised 25k one).

Things started to heat in 6th month. I didn't see the toxic culture at first, but we have been hired (i joined w some of my friends) as Jr design engineers but even after probation period i didn't saw my KPA changed, to which my colleague did, we used to do drafting work but had been promised other significant projects, to which none of us got but my colleague did got some additional duties as part of his KPA but not me

I may not have doubt the preference at first, but the things that was promised at the time of my appraisal didn't make it through, and in the last month they confirmed it wasn't going to anytime soon.

So at this point i was a drafter for them with no additional work, or projects to work on, or learned from

Here i was giving 8 hours a day and when our client (coz it was a consulting firm, it was the only client we have gotten since our hiring) did had any work, i and sometimes my colleague also stays idle but mostly me when the client didn't had any work

So i decided to part ways at the 9th month without any offer at hand, idk what to do

If anyone can advise me what career path i should take that would be helpful.
