Hi everyone! Longtime lurker, sometimes participant in this unique niche community. I fit the profile: married, kids, don’t want to break up, don’t want to die without more passion in my life. What to do? Come here, of course. Looking for someone in my general age range and similar life situation.

Who am I? I’m a 41 year old white cis-het man originally from the Midwest, but now long term Boston and Boston area resident. I’m 6’2”, have short beard and most of my hair, active, bike and walk a lot (for commuting and fun, in the city and out of it), hit the gym some, love to play and listen to music (live or recorded), read fiction and nonfiction, eat good and/or fancy food, coffee and booze. I work in academic medicine and research so I have both some inflexibility and some flexibility to my schedule. It’s hard for me to take long international trips, but I have a good number of free days here and there. I focus my volunteer and advocacy efforts in local urbanism and urban forestry/gardening, and have been intentionally tuning out national news since about…. the beginning of November or so.

Why post now? It gets dark here at like 4pm. The holidays can be stressful. It’s been raining here on and off for days. Having a new sexy friend would be a light in the darkness, perhaps, and I will have a little more down time than usual in the next few weeks to invest in getting to know someone.

I would be interested in chatting at first, but hope — if we like each other — we could meet up if we both want to. Happy to swap pictures early to make sure it’s going to work for both of us. I live across the river from Boston, and if you happened to be inside the Boston metro bike/transit radius, that would be a dream. If you are within an hour or two drive, or even NYC, we could also probably make something work. I understand and respect opsec, and can respect any of your specific needs too.
