I will never forget that fateful day.
Things started calmly enough. A coffee, a chat. A smile, a flirt. I stroked your hair, you put your index finger into your mouth and thrust it into my nose.
We laughed. We joked. We were thrown out of the cafe after breaking the changing table in the bathroom - those things really should be able to take the weight of two grown adults.
We stepped outside and shuddered as the cool winds engulfed our still half dressed bodies. You took a swig from a flask that you produced from - where exactly? - and kissed me, passing that toxic liquid into my soul.
Time stood still. My legs did not. I ran - not away from you but away from the cloud of unconsciousness that chased me - until I noticed a fire in a trash can underneath a bridge, circling it like a moth to a flame, the heat pulling me in.
That tracking device that you had stapled to my scrotum brought you to me - just as I was making fast friends with those who called that underpass their home. They turned to greet you, each calling your name and smiling with their cute little toothless grins.
You told them lies about me. They loved me. You told them the truth and they turned on me.
I turned to escape just as a cab pulled up, a door flinging open as our ride hollered to us. Our savior. My hero. A $2 tip seemed generous but I was in that kind of mood. He took us to that motel - you know, the one with the ashtrays and the cracked sink and the stained sheets. The honeymoon suite.
We fell onto the bed. It broke, but we didn't care. Lost in each other you sighed, you gasped, you shrieked as I thrust. Wrong hole, sorry.
We made love on the bedbug infested mattress. We rolled, entwined, on those bloodstained sheets. We were together, I was inside of you, at last.
After I had filled your love hole with my sticky batter I began to fall asleep. The last thing that I remember was a kiss on my cheek as you rolled me over to pull my jeans from underneath my body. My new love, my soulmate, was to walk out of the door with my wallet.
I will never forget you. I have, however, forgotten everything about you. Name, appearance, age, location - everything.
Come find me once more, my sweetheart.
