I've been struggling with what to write as an "ad" (ugh) - something that hasn't been a problem in the past. So I think I'll just cut to the chase and focus on what I'm here for - I'm looking first for a friendship that has the possibility of developing into something more. A slow burn with the possibility that it will erupt into flame (the good kind, lol, albeit always dangerous).

I'm nearing 50 but have been told I could pass for 40. Dark hair, green eyes, sometimes bearded, but currently not.I stay active and am in decent shape. I guess I'd say that I look like your average NoVA suburban dad, lol.

Fairly outdoorsy. Love to read, especially the classics, and love to talk about them. I also love a good movie and have a couple of series I'm working my way through. Engaging conversationalist and enjoy making my partner laugh. I run my own business and have a fair amount of independence and flexibility.
