I’m going to try to be super honest here - the good, bad, and ugly. Obviously, you have to take that with many grains of salt because I clearly don’t tell the truth about everything, specifically one very big thing, cheating. But for whatever it’s worth (maybe nothing), that’s the only thing I lie about (outside of white lies like how Santa is totally, definitely, very much real).

**The basics:** I’m 41, happily married, love my family, no real complaints in life, and no justifications for being a cake eater. But I am one. A serial cheater in fact. Not a “multiple APs at one time” cheater—more a, “when my A comes to an E, I want another” kind of cheater. That is not, shall we say, virtuous, I realize, but let me explain (not justify, just explain). I absolutely love the fun of an illicit friendship with someone I connect and care with that is, please take this is the spirit it’s intended, off to the side of our regular lives. I find a good affair exhilarating. Maybe you do too?

**The particulars:** I’m 5’8, in decent physical shape, but I’m a dad, love pizza and popcorn, and monastic self-discipline is not my strong suit. You can do the math. That said, I’m pretty good company. Good conversationalist, strong listener, decently funny, above average wit. Whatever you’re into it, we’ll have fun talking, grabbing coffee, and texting the occasional meme. I like planning, and can’t be terribly spontaneous or widely available in this endeavor, but I promise I’m not just seeking “sex on my schedule.” I do want a physical relationship, to be sure, one that we both truly enjoy, but I’m serious about the friendship part too. I also want you to view me as, in a good way, easy. I don’t want to add drama to our lives—just something uncomplicated that we both feel good about.

**The desirables:** Beyond being on a similar page with what I’ve written so far, what I’m looking for in an AP is someone who wants a lot out of life, someone with interests and opinions, maybe a healthy dose of charm, and dare I say, a naughty side. I’m 41, so probably you’re 35ish to 50ish? If you work downtown, at least from time to time, that would be ideal. If not, but you’re game to make the logistics work, we’ll figure it out. You are naturally discreet, careful, and discerning, and you expect the same in return (I’ll deliver!). You want something in person rather than predominantly online. As for looks, I like pretty as much as the next guy, but I genuinely do not have a type. If you sound like the person I wrote about above, I’ll probably find you very sexy.
