The feeling wanting you, of needing you
A need gone unfulfilled for too long
A forbidden glance, a taboo brush of fingertips in a social setting. A smile.
A knowing. A private joke that only we can laugh at. A smile that has to be contained and guarded on the inside of both of us.
A deep meaning, all of which must remain meaningless towards those that surround us
The wanting and needing of physical contact. The warmth of where you laid, slowly fading once you are gone.
I am not yours, yet I am. You are not mine, yet you are. To the world, we are strangers, yet behind closed doors, our souls entertwine to become one indisinguishable from two.
Is it worth it? The pain, the longing, the absence when we cannot be together? Most would say no, yet we would enthusiatically say yes.
They will never understand the lonliness, the need denied, the pain inside. They will never understand the anesthetic of forbidden touch, the electricity, the fireworks, the explosive fufilling of needs when skin meets skin. The entwining of arms and legs, the mingling of scent, of two becoming one.
