I’m a 38, 6ft tall and fit, and I’m in a bit of a tricky situation. Overall, I’d say I’m pretty happy with my life: I have a fulfilling job, great friends, and I stay active with hobbies like hiking and working out. I genuinely enjoy my life, but there's a part of it that's been feeling a bit… stagnant.
I’ve been in a long-term relationship that has unfortunately turned into roommates with dead bedroom kind of situation. It’s not that there’s any animosity—there’s just a lack of intimacy and connection that has made things feel more like roommates than partners. We've tried discussing it, but it seems that we’re both content with the status quo, which is fine, but it leaves me feeling something’s missing.
I want to be clear: I’m not looking to change anyone’s status or shake up anyone’s world. I just think it would be nice to connect with someone who might be in a similar boat. If you’re someone who’s happy in your own life, but also feels like there’s a void in the intimate department, I’d love to chat and see if we can share some thoughts or experiences.
