Because that's what great friendship is all about: lazing days away together, comfortable silences, and just general contentment.  What I'd like... I'm not 100% sure.  It's hard to predict what a great connection will be like.  It does need to have chemistry, trust, openness, laughter, listening, empathy, and all sorts of other stuff in the right combination.  We'll know it when we feel it, and we can see where it goes from there.
As for me, I'm a 47 yo white guy as the titles says.  Average height and keep myself in decent shape (no athlete, but not carrying a spare tire either).  I love craft beers, finding new bourbons, cooking recipes from around the world (reminds me of places I've traveled to :) exploring new places (especially ones with lots of history), and working hard at my career (love my job and take it seriously).  I'll save the long version for some solid chatting if we connect.
It'd be great to connect with someone like minded.  Age is not as important as maturity, but have a slight preference for 30s (it's nice to share life experiences).  Discretion is important, and willingness to be discreet and respect each other's situational needs is perhaps the one non-negotiable.  Let's start online and see where things go. I’d like to meet eventually if the spark is there (please be local), but really want to find friendship first.Â
