I want to find someone for the long term, with whom I share interests, daily struggles, and little victories. Who I can be vulnerable with and who I can grow to trust. And fall for. Mostly, I am lonely. A night owl with empty nights looking for a companion, and to meet in person semi-regularly. I am looking for an emotional and intellectual connection above all else, but I understand physical attraction is important too.
About me:
* I am 5'10", dark hair, scruffy facial hair, glasses, and chubby/dad bod/stocky/whatever. Cute if you're into all that.
* Married and a dad. Bona fide nerd/dweeb whatever, but a pretty balanced one, I think.
* I like many things. Theatre/musicals, history, museums, travelling, cooking and baking. My nerdy interests include boardgames, video games, books. My love language is cat pictures and bad memes. I would really enjoy someone who could recommend a new book (I read a lot of fantasy, horror, and science fiction), watch a bad movie, or play a game with me sometimes.
* I work in a sexy scientific job, but I have a lot of time to chat during the day and at night. I am not looking for something 9-5 or only a few messages a day
* Passionate, confident, likes to take charge. A good kisser and a generous lover. Patient and voracious.
About you:
* Talkative, curious, down to earth, shares a few of my interests (books chief among them). You don't have to have a fancy job, but you should be curious and enjoy learning.

Ultimately I'd love to find someone to say good morning and goodnight to. Someone to share everyday struggles with. Share the parts of ourselves we keep from others, and be each other's reason to smile.
