…and that’s fair! It’s ok to be blunt, and I am very much being blunt, about looking for sex. Contrary to some views, I don’t think sex being the primary purpose and treating someone with respect and engaging with them intellectually or emotionally are mutually exclusive.
Anyway, on to that quote I saw this morning that I was moved by. “Hopefulness is not a neutral position. It is adversarial. It is the warrior emotion that can lay waste to cynicism. “
I’m sure this wasn’t intended to apply to our situations but why not? Why can’t this seeking be a manifestation of hope?
As for me, I’m a tall, bearded, educated ex rugby flanker wm. As far as a peak into my personality, for work I’m reading journal articles that would likely bore you and for my non vocational consumption, I’m very much enjoying the Mets playoff run; reading a Dave Eggers novel; listening to the new Every Time I Die post breakup bands and watching clever new additions to the horror genre like I Saw The Tv Glow.
As far as those I’m interested in, I’m quite open, so if you are a randy, respectful and adventurous woman looking for some secret fun, shoot your shot should this interest you. Of course we will share pics cautiously. Stay hopeful.
