I’m throwing it out to the universe to see what comes my way. I’ve made previous specific wishful posts online that have manifested some pretty surprisingly great friends and adventures in the past so I figure I might as well try and see if it can work again!

I’ll be in DC for work for a few weeks in May. I’ll also be back for a week in June. I’m there for academic conferences, client meetings and I have an opportunity to house-sit for a friend in the Northwest.

I’m an old punk who somehow ended up going to graduate school. I’m in healthcare management consulting and I mostly work from home for an international company of mystery.

I’m 6ft, broad shouldered, green eyed and a little silver coming into my hair. I’ve added a few tattoos and plan to get more. I enjoy women who are comfortable around books and records and have their own ideas to talk about and share.

I enjoy heading out on a hike, puffing on a rolled up piece of paper with some dried herbs inside 😇 I go to the bouldering gym regularly or I grab a yoga class. I’m dad bod fit and strong. I do at least try to take care of myself but I also sit at a desk all day most days. I’m a musician. I play guitar and sing and love to see live bands at dive bars.

I’m looking to make a friend and have a spring adventure while I’m in town. I will be able to host for some of the time while I’m there. Let’s go out on the town and enjoy ourselves in the spring weather!

Im married, we have a don’t ask, don’t bring it home agreement. We trust each other to make our own decisions. I’m looking for strictly casual, friendly and drama free. I’m not going to change things or run away with you but I want to share an experience together that we can both reflect on and smile from an experience with a new friend.
