So firstly is muscular development akin to fighters like usman, woodley, costa, romero a reasonable goal to a young natural lifter who is training for hypertrophy?
Then secondly I've seen people say bodybuilding and mma are at odds with each other/cardio kills gains. Is this only for people wanting to compete and be elite at either aspect or is there a tradeoff for average joes as well? Could i lift for 3 years get a good physique whilst mainly focusing on technique in mma , or does the intensity of mma somehow destroy muscle building potential and destine me to being scrawny?
My dream/target based on most guides to muscle growth and my current point would be something like 85kg at 14% bodyfat ( 23 ffmi at my height but im stocky) and then also conditioned and athletic - how much would either size or athletecism need to be compromised ?
