The Wabash Army, which is mostly comprised of the remnants of the Illinois and Indiana National Guard, has been sent by President Borah to guard against raids in the border towns along the Mississippi. General Musgrave, the highest ranking military officer in the Wabash Republic, is currently overseeing the defenses from a base outside East St. Louis.
