I will be traveling from Buffalo NY to Smartsville California from April 20-27th with my boyfriend, we are renting an SUV. I booked a two night stay in Whitmore which is closest to the Northwest side of Lassen, about 45 mins away. I then booked a two night stay in Eureka and we will drive back to Smartsville. I would love to hear input about things to see, routes to take, restaurants to try.

We are in our 30s, in decent shape but are not very experienced hikers so wouldn’t want to do any intense hikes.
